To-Do-List

This bucket-list is divided into two sections. The first will be what I want to do before my exchange year and the second will be the things I want to do during my year abroad.

Before my exchange year (when I am still in Germany):
(  ) getting my host-family
(X) receiving my welcome letter from YFU Brasil
(X) having my orientation-week (unbelievable amazing week with a few of the most amazing people I have ever had the pleasure to meet)
(X) creating my blog
(X) ordering my farewell-book 
(X) designing my farewell-book
(X) giving my farewell-book to my friends
(X) getting my departure date (got it on the 8th 5, it is the 5th 82014, shoot me, I think it´s funny :D)
(  ) creating a packing list (20 kg? I mean... How? Why?? :C)
(  ) buying and designing pesents for my host family
(  ) presents for my friends in Germany
(  ) 1st contact to my host-family
(  ) buying sunglasses
(  ) getting my braces out
(X) buying sunscreen
(X) going to the cinema with my friends
(X) TBC-Test
(X) Yellow Fever Injection (horrible week -.-)
(X) exeat from my school

During my exchange year (Until I have my hostfamily (and with that my destination) everything will be hosted here and then cut back to those things, which are reasonable to expect ;). Because I probably will not learn surfing when I am in the Central-West.):

(  ) witnessing a tropical storm
(  ) ordering something to eat
(  ) seeing the Iguaza Falls
(  ) learning how to surf

(  ) taking pictures at the Christo Redentor
(  ) visiting a restaurantes japonêses (as far as I am informed, they are rather popular there. Like the Italian restaurantes in Germany)
(  ) having a churrasco (typical brazilin barbecue with my Host Family and/or my friends
(  ) visiting a churrascaria (= grill restaurant)
(  ) snacking on brigadeiros (= brazilian chocolates made of chocolate and condensed milk)
(  ) brigadeiros branco (made of white chocolate)
